SPARKLING SUMMER PEACH LEMONADE
INGREDIENTS
• 4 cups water
• 1 3/4 cups fresh lemon juice
• 11 oz can peach nectar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 4 sprigs of fresh thyme or lemon-thyme
• ice cubes
• lemon slices for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
1. To a large pitcher or trifle bowl, add water, lemon juice and peach nectar. Add sugar and stir together until sugar dissolves. Stir in thyme sprigs.
2. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serve in glasses over ice, with lemon slices.
WANT TO MAKE IT SPARKLING?
Instead of using 4 cups of water, use 3 cups of water and 1 cup of club soda. After you pour the lemonade into the serving glasses, top each glass off with a splash of club soda to make it extra bubbly!
SPARKLING BLUEBERRY LEMONADE
INGREDIENTS:
• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup water
• 1 cup fresh blueberries
• 1 can lemonade concentrate thawed
• 1 liter club soda chilled
• 2 cups cold water
• Fresh blueberries for garnish
• slices Lemon for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Add water and brown sugar to small saucepan and heat over MED heat. Heat until sugar is dissolved.
2. Add in fresh blueberries and boil for 5 minutes, until blueberries are breaking down.
3. Pour mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a small bowl and set aside to cool to room temperature.
4. To a large pitcher, add thawed lemonade concentrate, cold water and slowly pour in chilled club soda. Be careful, it will fizz up a lot.
5. Stir to combine well and place in refrigerator to chill.
6. Pour a little blueberry simple syrup in the bottom of serving glass, top with ice, pour in lemonade, top with a splash of club soda if desired. Garnish with fresh blueberries & lemon slices.
(If you’d prefer, add blueberry simple syrup directly to pitcher of lemonade)
